No 12 Castle Street, Brecon is a late 18th - early 19th century town-house of 3-storey and basement, stuccoed, with slate hipped roof, and plinth. There is an internal, cantilever moulded stone stair with a curved hand-rail and stick ballasters. The first and second-floors retain original stencilled wall-paintings.
