The main part of Bodegroes was built in 1780, though it is thought to incorporate parts of an earlier house. It is a two storey structure built of coursed rubble with cellars and an attic. There is a projecting chimney and an iron pillar supported veranda that overlooks the garden (Nprn86283) and returns up the sides of the house.
