The Hand Hotel dates from the early nineteenth century and originally served as a hostelry on the Holyhead Road. It is brick-built and has three storeys and five bays, the middle three being closely spaced. The central entrance has a Tuscan portico set on a half-round step and carries a flat topped entablature. There have been a number of later alterations and additions.
