DisgrifiadPossible round barrow. Lying in a pasture field is a turf- covered mound measuring 14.5m (NE-SW) by 12.5m and c.0.75m high.
In other locations this mound would be considered a likely Bronze Age tumulus. But since the field is surrounded by old mine workings a recent industrial origin for the mound is also possible. However, probing indicates an earthen consistency whereas the spoil mounds are generally stony (in addition to having central shafts).
