Royal Commission aerial reconnaissance on 10th August 2012 recorded a series of cropmarks across two fields between Lower Rectory farm and The Meadows. In the north field, at SJ 1959 0113 is a small oval ring ditch with no other features evident. In the adjacent field (at the NGR of the site record) are cropmarks of two semi-circular ditches, potentially a pair of ring ditches showing as incomplete cropmarks, together with two sides of a rectangular ditched enclosure with a rounded corner, potentially of Roman date. Several other less distinct cropmarks of ditches are visible across the area.
