DisgrifiadThe western corner of a rectangular earthwork enclosure was recorded under drifting snow during RCAHMW aerial reconnaissance on 24th Jan 2013. The broad earthwork bank describes a rounded corner, similar to a Roman earthwork, and the visible earthwork measures 64m across. The enclosure occupies the summit of a locally prominent ridge commanding views to the southwest. This may be the vestiges of an Iron Age hillfort or Roman fort.
