DisgrifiadThis fish trap is part of a complex located on and between Salmon and Pastoun Scars (see NPRN 401681). This fish trap is an 83m dry stone wall situated at Patsoun Scar. The wall is orientated east-west, and continues across the scar for 83m. Where the scar finishes the wall becomes more substantial, and continues for 30m until it reaches a low water channel known locally as 'Cwter Draw'. It is thought that a cod-end or sluice may have been located here.
Event and Historical Information:
The complex was recorded during a number of visits by RCAHMW staff from 1980-2003.
