Disgrifiad1. This site appears on the 1889 and 1903 25 inch OS plans. It had a small bifurcated kitchen garden to the rear and appears to lie in agricultural or open land with a relict hedgeline on the earlier map. It is unclear how far two ponds to the E were part of its landscape, though the more northerly was certainly silted up even by the first edition.

2. This garden is depicted on the Second Edition Ordnance Survey 25-inch map of Radnorshire XXV, sheet 6 (1903). Its main elements on that map include picturesque relic hedgelines and walled garden. C.H. Nicholas, RCAHMW, 25th August 2006.
