This collection comprises the plans and drawings produced for the 'Figures' accompanying Peter Smith's chapter, 'Rural Buildings in Wales', in the Agrarian History of England and Wales, Vol V: ii, ed. Joan Thirsk (Cambridge University Press, 1984). The chapter subsequently appeared, in a revised version, in 'The Buildings of the Countryside', ed. M.W. Barley. The material relates to Welsh rural buildings, 1500-1750.
