Seilo Methodist Chapel and schoolroom were built in 1863 by architect John Lumley of Aberystwyth. It was rebuilt in 1868 and the facade rebuilt in 1956. The 1956 chapel was built in the Classical and Gothic style of the gable entry type. By 1995 this chapel had been demolished.
