Description
Cefn Buarddau is a former dwelling and farmbuilding, built in the late 16th century or early 17th century. Set out in a line and attached, the building is of rubble stone on boulder foundations, thinly rendered and whitewashed. The front elevation has a central stable door with projecting stones each side and small square windows either side. The upper floor has two small raised gabled dormers immediately above the ground floor windows. The roof on the former dwelling is of old grouted slates, while the farm building section is of later slate. Internally there are chamfered rough beams, site of a ladder to access the upper floor and evidence of a partition wall.
