The Aber-Artro estate includes a large area of woodland adjoining the river to the east of Llanber. It is depicted on the Second Edition Ordnance Survey 25-inch map of Merionethshire XXVI, sheet 9 (1901). Its main elements on that map include a conservatory, woodland, aqueduct, bridge, parkland, river, terrace and walled garden.
