Description
1. The oval, ridge-top enclosure at Moel Fodig measures c.77m by 34m, and is defined by a bank and ditch, with slight remains of a counterscarp. It is thought to have been originally walled, with a north-east entrance. There are possibly two roundhouse emplacements within, whilst the north-west of the interior has been obliterated by quarrying.

2. Winter aerial photographs taken by RCAHMW in 2007 (see AP_2007_4589) suggest two, or possibly three, discrete house platforms surviving in the central and eastern part of the hillfort.
