Description
Farmbuildings ranged about three sides of a large court to the east and south-east of Newton House (NPRN 25940). These might preserve something of the late sixteenth-early seventeenth century arrangements, when the house had its heyday.
The long stone barn on the north side of the yard has a datestone of 1697, but has some early seventeenthy century fenestration and may originally have been an accommodation block.
On the south of the yard is a probably eighteenth century L-plan range comprising a barn and shed.
