Description
The substantial remains of a rectangular sheepfold (or possibly the remains of a field barn) of drystone and boulder construction. Its overall internal dimensions are 11.5m x 4m., with walls up to 1.5m high and 0.9m thick. The structure consists of two pens with the smallest at the S end of the structure only 2m wide. There are the remains to the N of a low walled enclosure attached to the fold. There is also a low irregular wall to the SW. Much of site hidden by bracken. A record in GAT SMR records two hut circles at this site adjacent to the above as well as a possible long-hut. It is likely that low walls to the SW represent the remains of these.
