Description
West Wales General Hospital opened in 1949 and was the first district hospital to open in Wales under the NHS act. It is located in the Glangwili district of Carmarthen and is managed by Carmarthenshire NHS Trust. It provides acute and emergency care services to a population of around 170,000.
