DisgrifiadA sub-rectangular platform, c.56m E-W by 44m, defined by a moat, with an outer bank except on the N, where there is a causewayed entrance (source Os495card; ST59SW29). Associated with: Moynes Court (NPRN 20438).
Royal Commission aerial reconnaissance on 21st June 2010 revealed parchmarks of additional denuded earthworks extending around 35m to the west and south of the extant moat and showing additional defensive ditches at the site. These ditches survive beyond the current scheduled area. (See frames AP_2010_2834-5). An image illustrating the discovery was published in British Archaeology magazine, issue 119 (July/Aug 2011).
