Modern mooring basin for 33 boats using earlier turning hole. Indicative of modern passenger boat use of the canal. Constructed by the British Waterways Board in 2004 to allow pleasure boats to stay overnight near Llangollen Town and increase the economic benefits of the canal to the town. The basin was in very active use when visited on 08.09.2006.
