The village of Llanddona lies about three miles north west of Beaumaris. It has a primary school, village hall and a public house called the 'Owain Glyndwr Inn.' The parish church (St. Dona's Church, NPRN 27534) is situated about a mile north of the village. There were two chapels in the village itself - Bethel Welsh Wesleyan Methodist chapel (NPRN 8721) and Peniel Welsh Calvinistic Methodist Chapel (NPRN 8720). Only Peniel is still open today.
