Event and Historical Information:
This Anson was built by Avro at Chadderton. Its service life with the RAF saw assignments to 12 Fighter Training School (FTS), 2 SAN and lastly 8 OAFU. The aircraft was forced to land near Trefant on 31 December 1943, due to bad weather, fuel shortage and an inoperable radio.
