The remains of St Mary's Church, Pennard, consisting of a nave (13m E-W) and a chancel (13m E-W), were consumed by sand around the fourteenth cenury. The reamins are footings, but the western wall of the nave stands to 2.4m high.

A painter’s muller and stone pallet with red pigment were excavated from the church and exhibited in 1861 but are now lost.
