Aberaeron Memorial Hall was opened on 1 April 1925 by the pro-Asquith Liberal MP, Rhys Hopkin Morris. The Hall was built by public subscription and maintained by the local community. The front facade of the building bears the name "MEMORIAL HALL" and underneath the dates "1914-1919" and "1939-1945".
