Royal Commission aerial reconnaissance on 16th July 2013 recorded cropmarks of two conjoined, ditched rectilinear enclosures on land to the north of Lower Broadmoor. Both the enclosures have rounded corners, and the upper (northern) enclosure attaches to a north-south linear ditch which continues north. The enclosures have the appearance of former field enclosures and are not marked on modern or nineteenth century mapping. They predate the reservoir or pond at their southern edge. They do not align with the present day field boundaries showing that they have some antiquity.
