Bethmaca Independent Chapel was built in 1836 and rebuilt in 1866 by architct Thomas Thomas of Landore. The chapel was rebuilt again in 1895, by architeect Richard Davies of Bangor. The present chapel, dated 1895, is built in the Sub-Classical style of the gable entry type.
