DescriptionA low ground swelling 9m across and no more than 0.1m high is all that remains of a burnt mound located 30m W of a standing stone (Nprn305181). A minor stream, which doubtless serviced the site, lies 12m to the W. A faint linear hollow is the only trace of the drainage trench which exposed the mound. Probing indicated the gravel texture associated with such sites.
NGR corrected after consulting excavation report and plan.
