Description
The Quaker Meeting House was part of a warehouse, built 1744, on the site of the present Shire Court, on the corner of Quay Street and High Street. This is said to have incorporated furniture from a former c.1700 meeting house. The warhehouse closed in 1824 and was demolished soon after (ref.Butler, DM, The Quaker Meeting Houses of Britain, Vol. II). The warehouse may be a pre-C18 structure and may be shown in Buck's Print of Haverfordwest.
