Calfaria Baptist Chapel was built in 1892/3 to replace an earlier building (NPRN 9108) which then became the vestry. It was built in the Romanesque style with a gable-entry plan. During road widening in the 1970's this chapel was closed and demolished, and the congregation moved back to the original building.
