3. This is a dour, castellated, cliff-top folly, commanding spectacular views to seaward. The building is square in plan with a rather advanced tower at the south-east corner. The walls are of roughcast rubble, the flat roof is fringed by crenellations. There are loopholes of questionable utility. Currently used as an information centre and observation tower by the RSPB.

The garden paths depicted on OS County series 1st edition (Anglesey XI.1 1889) have gone, but the walling remains.
