Site Record

A garden enclosure adjoining the south of the former farmhouse at Dolau Gwynion on the western side of the Duhonw river. The enclosure measured 15m north-south by 10m and was defined on the east, south and west sides by a stone and earth bank, 1.5m wide and 0.5m high. The northern side was formed by the house itself. Vegetation cover in April 2008 was short grass and a large tree was growing in the bank in the southeastern corner of the enclosure. The enclosure had also been used for military training and a fieldwork, NPRN 242108 had been built close to the tree. J.J. Hall, Trysor, 24 April 2008
