Glan Clwyd is an L-shaped storeyed house, probably of the 17th century, with a later addition. Probably the earliest part is a two-unit house to the SW, comprising a lateral-chimneyed hall and outer room. There is still a post-and-panel partition between the hall and inner room. Originally half-timbered and box-framed, the front wall has been rebuilt and the half-timbering largely obscured. To the rear of the house is a much modernised stone-built kitchen wing. However, the roof-trusses are early and it is possible that this represents the original hall-house, with the half-timbered unit a later modification.
