Description
A distinctive single hut circle located on the top break of slope above the Afon Dulyn. It is constructed from tighly-packed, small to medium, rounded stones. It measures approximately 9m in diameter, and its walls are 1.4m thick and up to 0.5m high. It has been mutilated by the subsequent construction of a small shepherds shelter and sheepfold on the side of it. The shelter measures approximately 1.5m long by 1m wide and the small sub-rectangular sheep fold is 3m long and 2m wide. Peter Schofield, Oxford Archaeology North, 2nd July 2004.
