Description
A hut circle described in the Caernarvonshire Inventory and portrayed as such by OS (1) has the appearance of a sub-rectangular structure with slightly rounded sides on the west and east. On the north an earthfast boulder is incorporated. Slightly terraced into rising ground on the west, it measures internally 5.5m (N-S) by 4m, its walls reduced to spread stony banks up to 3m wide. Their external height varies from 0.8m, downhill, to 0.3m elsewhere; internally 0.2m high on average. A corner stone is visible on the north-east. Given the proximity of a longhouse, 20m or so to the south, this may well be some ancillary structure linked to it.
