House of Austin Friars, established c.1377, disolved 1538.
Vestiges of the friary buildings appear to have survived into the 20th c., notable possible fragments of the precinct walls (Os495card; ST38NW45). Following l.20th c. redevelopement the alignments of these walls are no longer preserved and it should be supposed that there are no current remains.
