Description
Gaer Hill camp occupies the end of a spur above the Wye Valley. It is a sub-rectangular enclosure measuring about 82m north-west by south-east by 48m-68m. The enclosure is defined by a bank, ditch and counterscarp, having a south-west facing entrance, and is contained within a larger, sub-circular enclosure measuring some 240m north-west by south-east by 254m, similarly defined.
