The cropmark of a subrectangular, ditched enclosure, west of Penpedwast, measures about 45m east-west by 33m, and is resting on steep natural slopes above the Nant Hafren on the north. It is situated about 200m east of Castell Henllys (Nprn94989).

A trench opened across the western ditch in 1996 is unpublished, although on-line interim report on Castell Henllys mentions the recovery of similar material from both sites.
