DescriptionCopperworks Dock, Llanelli was built 1804-05 as a tidal dock to serve the copperworks of R.J.
Nevill. It was reconstructed as a floating dock in 1824-25. It
remained in use until 1949 and the removal of the dock gates in 1978 resulted in the silting up of the dock It has since been filled in, although part of the entry channel remains.
