Wayside station on the former Manchester & Milford Railway (nprn 91660) between Pencader Junction and Aberystwyth. This section of line opened in 1866. On opening in 1871, the station was known as Cross Inn (Llanfihangel), renamed New Quay Road in 1874 and then Bryn Teify in 1916. The station closed in 1965 although the line remained open for milk traffic until 1973.
