A c.2.0km section of Roan road, part of RR642 (Nprn305906) Caersws - Caer Gai (Nprn92468, 95436).
The section, represented by discontinous earthworks & parchmarks noted from the air, runs NNE from SO04489867, appearing to pass around a depression at SO04519874 (but see AP94-CS 0055), making several changes in alignment until it is lost running NNW approaching the S bank of the Crygnant at SJ04540061.
Section cut at SO045988 (Putnam 1998); a kerbed metalled surface, 4.7m across between ditches .
