The reservoir supplies water to North Pembrokeshire and is a brown trout fishery. It was formed by damming the Afon Syfynwy which falls steeply down the valley here above a cluster of dwellings called Dyffryn. Recorded by the RCAHMW during aerial recconnaisance on 1st August, 2007. NJR 14/05/2010
