DescriptionYsbyty Aneurin Bevan opened in Oct 2010 at the cost of around £53 million. The two storey hospital, designed by architects, Nightingale Associates, is a zigzag building on the former Corus Steelworks, Ebbw Vale. Aneurin Bevan is the first hospital of it's kind in Wales to feature single rooms for patients, which are organised around 3 wards, each with 32 beds. The rooms have large windows to maximise natural light and each ward has an outdoor terrace.
