St John's Chapel was a chantry chapel, of which no trace now remains. The site is noted as being located to the north of Waun Dew Road (also Richmond Terrace), on Capel Ifan playing fields, which reportedly took their name from the chapel site. In 1917 it was noted that the road which formerly led to the chapel still remained.
