Rectangular blunt promontory extending south from Crickmail Down, with a broad rock-cut ditch on the landward side broken by a central gateway or causeway, giving access to a restricted rectangular promontory 50m x 37m, enclosing 0.2ha. The interior rises to a rocky outcrop on the western point. Recorded during RCAHMW aerial reconnaissance for the CHERISH Project.
