Site Record

The enclosure is located on the south and east facing slopes. It is very heavily obscured by vegetation, and its shape in plan is not clear. The area enclosed is probably around 150 metres by 50 metres. The boundary is marked in places by vertical slabs, now leaning, which measure roughly 0.5 by 0.5 by 0.1 metre. However most of the boundary is a collapsed stone wall, now a turfed over bank, measuring 1 metre high and 1 metre wide. At SO 26625 22465 there is a 0.7 metre wide entrance into the enclosure, near to the remains of some buildings. The ground cover was bracken at the time of survey. N.A.
