Site Record

A mound, approximately 10m to 15m in diameter and 3m to 4m in height, which appears to be the result of quarrying. There are signs of stone revetment and wooden protrusions within the mound, suggesting that a bunker has been constructed within it. It is accessed by a hollow way leading from the road to the east, and approached by pipe trenches running to the northwest and southeast. T. Pillatt, ArcHeritage, 22 May 2012.
