The first Ebeneser Methodist was built in 1823 and enlarged in 1833 (NPRN1875) and became the Sunday school when the new chapel was built in 1875.. The new chapel was built close by, in the Gothic style, with polychromatic brick and a gable-entry plan. Some modification works took place in 1898.
