Hendy, a farmstead of mid-18th centrury date, standing on a platformed site at O.D.850ft overlooking the Nant brook to the E. The earlier buildings, the house and barn, are built on parallel downhill sited platforms and each has had a further farmbuilding added in range; a cartshed with granary over was built above the house and a cowhouse was constructed on a platform below the barn..
