Pen-y-banc, a farmstead off the SE. slopes of the Wylfre common, is sited at O.D.925ft on a platform cut into the hillside which is descending towards the river Edw. Only the house with cowhouse in range now remains standing, the barn to the NE. and a stable on the NW. of the yard having been demolished. (HB/1996)
