Tabernacle Methodist Chapel was built in 1864, a gallery added in 1869, a sunday school in 1890, manse in 1894 and the chapel rebuilt in 1902. The later chapel was built in the Classical style of the gable entry type. The chapel itself has been demolished, but the former chapel house and Sunday School, on the south side and to the rear of the chapel respectively, remain as a single dwelling.
