DescriptionSN83371677 (revised from SN83341677)
On the lip of a fairly level area of ground on the moderately steep south east-facing slope of Twyn Du at c. 420m O.D., lies a round cairn.
The limestone and sandstone mound measures 7m in diameter and survives to a height of 0.3m. It is consolidated around the edges (especially on the north) with light vegetation. West of centre, partially buried, lies a sandstone slab. It measures 1.6m long, 0.6m wide and at least 0.15m thick; its long axis is aligned roughly N-S. It is perhaps the dislodged capstone of a cist.
The cairn lies close to a trackway which passes by on the N.
