Saron Independent Chapel was built in 1830, rebuilt in 1841, enlarged and a gallery added in 1861 and re-roofed in 1986. The 1841 chapel was built in the Simple Round-Headed style with a long-wall entry plan. Saron is now Grade 2 Listed as a relatively early rural chapel with an exceptionally fine gallery and other furnishings of 1861.
